Since 1975, MRK Medical Consultants has been providing comprehensive analysis of personal injury cases for the legal profession and insurance industry. Injury analysis is one of the most critical components in establishing the tone and direction of a personal injury legal case and quite often affects the case outcome. Edward Younger, III, MD, is Medical Director of MRK Medical Consultants. Dr. Younger has been performing medical evaluations since 2000.   Currently MRK has an experienced team of over 60 expert medical legal consultants. Since the establishment of MRK Medical Consultants, the number of medical consultants has expanded and the variety of medical specialties has broadened. The firm continues to grow in specialists and geographic coverage, while maintaining a reputation for providing objective and unbiased expert opinions. We work very hard to recruit consultants that are accomplished in their clinical practice as well as skilled at developing medical reports and testimony. Each stage of the Independent Medical Exam or the Expert Testimony process " research to review " analysis to opinion, is addressed in a comprehensive manner in order to help legal and insurance professionals reach appropriate conclusions about their client™s situations. We pride ourselves in maintaining objectivity, and the MRK consultants provide opinions regarding the relationship between symptoms, findings and causation. Upon request MRK consultants can also provide opinions regarding patient prognosis, need for proposed surgical procedures and future medical care.
