About the Job
The Law Offices of Edward S. Cooper, Esq. is seeking a highly organized, professional Administrative Assistant to join our established legal practice on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, computer-savvy, and capable of supporting daily legal and administrative operations in a small but fast-paced law office environment.
This position is ideal for someone looking to contribute meaningfully in a well-respected legal setting with a flexible, part-time schedule.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, draft, and format legal correspondence and documents
- Organize, manage, and maintain both digital and physical files
- Work closely with attorney for dictation.
- Create and update Excel spreadsheets and
- Perform general administrative tasks: responding to emails
- Assist the attorney with various legal office support tasks as needed
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel)
- Strong typing skills and overall computer literacy
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Prior legal administrative experience preferred, or background in law/legal studies
- Professional, punctual, and organized
