A well-respected, full-service business law firm in the heart of Denver is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Legal Assistant, to play a crucial role in supporting their litigation team. 

Your Role:

As a Litigation Legal Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our team, providing comprehensive support to multiple litigation attorneys. Your expertise will be essential in managing complex legal processes and ensuring seamless case management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Mastery: Draft, format, proofread, and finalize a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation-related materials.
  • Court Filing Expertise: Manage electronic court filings, ensuring strict adherence to state and federal filing deadlines and procedures.
  • Calendar and Scheduling Guru: Coordinate and maintain attorneys' calendars, scheduling court appearances, depositions, client meetings, and other critical deadlines.
  • Client and Court Communication: Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.
  • Administrative Excellence: Prepare expense reports, manage billing-related documentation, and handle various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the litigation team.
  • Deadline Management: Proactively monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks to ensure timely completion.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven litigation legal assistant experience, preferably in a mid-size to large law firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with legal document management software, such as iManage.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and protocols.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptability and a proactive mindset.
