We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Family Law Associate Attorney to join our team in our Murray, UT office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support modifications, protective orders, and other domestic relations cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials, advocating effectively on behalf of clients.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and support staff.
• Manage case deadlines and maintain accurate records in compliance with firm policies.
• Participate in firm meetings, trainings, and business development activities.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Utah and in good standing with the Utah State Bar.
• 2+ years of family law experience preferred but will consider strong candidates with litigation experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong courtroom advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
