Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Debt Defense Attorney to join our legal team. As a Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing debt defense representation to clients in debt disputes and settlement legal matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about the law and wants to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Attorney to dispute debts accounts with creditors and bureaus immediately.
  • Defense attorney help our client disputes their debts summons cases
  • Attorney to respond to the summons stating that the case is currently in dispute and that no summons should be filed until the credit dispute is resolved with the creditors.
  • Attorney to aim for debt settlement for a 50% reduction or more
  • Attorney to dispute with Credit and credit restoration
  • Attorney to challenge summons that are sued while dispute is ongoing
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and hearings
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients at 50% or less reduction
  • Provide legal administrative support, such as maintaining case files and managing deadlines
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to develop effective legal strategies

Skills:
- Strong legal drafting skills with the ability to write clear and concise documents
- Proficient in conducting thorough legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis
- Excellent negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
- Ability to litigate cases effectively in court
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to Texas state bar association and licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law in Debt Defense
- Proven track record of successful case outcomes
