Key Responsibilities:

• Settling cases for the maximum benefit to our clients
• Winning trials
• Maintaining regular communication with clients and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction
• Turning around a high volume of cases efficiently
• Setting client expectations
• Never over promise but always overdeliver
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
• Work with experts; generating, tending relationships with experts so that we can prove our case
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
• Court Appearances/ Court Hearings / Oral Arguments

Key Qualifications for Litigation Attorneys:

• Licensed and in good standing with Tennessee Bar (Licenses in MS and or AR are pluses)
• Minimum of 1-year experience in personal injury litigation, defense or plaintiffs is preferred for litigation attorneys
• Strong negotiation skills
• Crisis de-escalator skills, calm under fire
• A comprehensive understanding of personal injury law and insurance is desirable
• Strong legal research and writing skillsAbility to manage a demanding caseload
• Ability to Identify complex problems and review related information
• Ability to listen to clients, taking time to understand the points made and asking the appropriate questions
• Ability to display sincere empathy for clients is a must!
• Ability to convey information effectively both verbally and in writing
• Able to determine the relative costs and benefits of each potential case
• Effective leadership skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to follow firm policies and procedures while seeking opportunities for continuous improvement
• Ability to quickly learn and effectively use the Firms key case management software
